Description Sterling silver Shire Horse Society medal in original case presented to the single heavy horse at the Liverpool Parade in 1925. There are a pair of shire horses in harness in relief below the words ‘Shire Horse Society’, and on the revers, the young Queen Victoria with crown and sceptre, mounted on a ceremonially attired charger.
